Madlon was born on Monday, June 29, 1936 in Enterprise, LA. and passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. She lived a life woven with faith, service, and love. A devoted member of Harrisonburg First Baptist Church, she shared her gentle spirit through years of teaching Sunday school and leading the Women's Club with grace and dedication. In her later years, she attended New Ouachita Baptist Church upon her return to her family home in Enterprise. Her hands were blessed with a rare talent-she was an extraordinary seamstress and quilter whose work touched generations. As a proud member of the Stitch By Faith Quilters Guild, she poured her heart into every stitch. "Her perfect stitching, made with great love and memory, made each quilt personal to each child, grandchild, and great-grandchild. The family called them 'Our Priceless Treasures.'"
Madlon leaves behind a legacy of warmth, faith, and craftsmanship. Her love remains wrapped around her family, just like her quilts.
