Mae is survived by her husband, Bob Spraggs of Manito; daughters, Debra Grimm of Pekin, Jill (Michael) Hicks of Green Valley, and Cyndi (Rob) Bundy of Pekin; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Kent (Mary Lou) Budke of East Peoria, Roger (Susan) Budke of Smyrna, Tennessee, and Norman (Diana) Budke of Spring Lake. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Eric (Rick) Lawson; daughter, Pam Hazlett; granddaughters; Paige Lawson and Tiffany Hicks; and brother, Terry Budke.
Mae was a member of Manito Community United Methodist Church. She and Bob owned a furniture repair shop for many years. She also worked for 15 years hanging wallpaper and owned an antique shop in Manito. She enjoyed gardening and spending time in her yard. She loved her family and looked forward to their family breakfasts every other Sunday.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Manito Community United Methodist Church in Manito, with a visitation one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Rev. Abraham Mogerman and Rev. Steve Oaks will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mae's name to Willow Ridge Hospice. Online condolences can be left for her family at www.hurleyfh.com.
Maas-Hurley Funeral Home in Manito is in charge of arrangements.

So sorry to hear this. Mae was a fun sweet little lady . She always had a smile and a laugh. My deepest sympathy to her family. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. Connie Friedrich

Heaven gained a special angel when Mae got her wings. I know that you will miss her smile that would light up the room. But hopefully, you can find peace and comfort in knowing how much that she loved each and every one of you. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
