KELLER - Magdalena "Maggie" Delgado, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on February 12, 2023, at the age of 73. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones when she peacefully passed away.
Maggie is survived by her loving husband Julio, her daughter DeeDee, her son Alex, daughter-in-law Megan, grandchildren Austin, Carter and Charlie and brother Jaime Flores. She was a loving and supportive wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her kind and gentle spirit will always be remembered by those who knew her.
Maggie was born on January 28, 1950, in Edinburg, Texas. She grew up in a loving family and was the youngest of 3 children. She married Julio Delgado in the summer of 1970 in Fort Worth. Maggie worked at Allstate Insurance as a Human Resource Manager for over 30 years. During her time at Allstate, she received her Bachelor of Science degree at Le Tourneau University. After retiring from Allstate, a year later she returned to the workforce at Bridgestone Firestone as Human Resource Manager where she worked for more than 10 years.
Maggie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who always put her family first. Maggie and Julio enjoyed their retirement together traveling, experiencing new restaurants, listening to music from western to classical, seeing live performances, she loved going antiquing, she enjoyed decorating her home for each holiday especially Easter and Christmas. She had a passion for cooking but loved planning and preparing for large family gatherings during the holidays. But every Friday night you would find Maggie and Julio at her favorite restaurant, Mi Pueblo with family and dear friends Tom and Carol.
