Magdalena Vela

Magdalena Vera was born on May 23, 1937, in Chihuahua, Mexico, and entered into eternal rest on November 12, 2025, in El Paso, Texas, at the age of 88.
She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Guillermo and Refugio Martínez, and by her devoted husband, Mario A.Vela.
Magdalena is lovingly survived by her children: Mario Vela (Michelle), Sergio Vela, Luis Vela (Diane), and Yvette Vela Sexsion (Joe), as well as her six grandchildren and one great-grandchild who were the light of her life.
Magdalena was a woman whose heart overflowed with warmth, joy, and kindness. She loved to laugh and fill her home with the kind of happiness only she could create. Cooking for her family was one of her greatest joys-every meal she prepared was a gift of love, comfort, and tradition.
She was a wonderful mother, not only to her own children but to anyone who needed a mother's touch. Her welcoming spirit made everyone feel cared for, embraced, and never alone. Magdalena had a way of loving with her whole heart, offering compassion, guidance, and comfort to all who crossed her path.
