Magdalene "Maggie" Bridget (Honeychuck) Cole, 95, of Greensburg, formerly of Scottdale and South Greensburg, passed away peacefully on Sept. 3, 2025, at her daughter's home in Jacksonville, FL. Magdalene was born on Oct. 8, 1929, and died just shy of her 96th birthday. She was a devout Catholic who was devoted to her family and loved fishing and the outdoors while avidly keeping up with her loved ones on Facebook. Maggie never turned down an invitation for Scrabble or cards and loved the challenge of crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Those who knew her affectionately as Mom, Mommy, Grandma, Meemaw, and Gigi will miss her smile, her laughter, and her triumphant calls of "Ace-Two-Three!" Maggie was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Catherine (Urban) Honeychuck; her loving husband of 55 years, Donald P. Cole of Scottdale; two children, daughter, Eileen "Beanie" (Cole) Moffa; and son, Donald Cole; and her four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her very large family: her remaining children, daughter, Jane (Cole) Clohessy and husband Richard, daughter, Louise (Cole) Wilhelm and husband Robert, son David Cole and wife, Karen, daughter, Mary Ellen Cole, daughter, Emily (Cole) Daloni and husband Peter, and daughter, Barbara (Cole) Baker and husband Mark; dear friend, Edward "Eddie" Nowicki, who was like a son to her; her grandchildren, Brian Wilhelm and wife Jennifer, Heather (Wilhelm) Walton and husband Scott, Aimee (Wilhelm) Adams, Erin (Clohessy) Vargo and husband Sean, Laura (Wilhelm) Lucas and husband, David, Jacquelyn (Cole) Runco and husband, Aaron, Julia Cole and wife Amber Miller, Joshua Monk and wife Melissa, Rachel (Monk) Tuttle and husband Nic, Alexis Daloni and partner, Frank Correa, Peter Michael Daloni and partner, Ashley Smith, Dominick Daloni and wife, Julia Metelsky, John Daloni and wife, Erin, Matthew Cole, Steven Cole and wife, Sarah Cuellar Cole, Michael Cole, Mark James Baker and wife, Brigid, Christina (Baker) Swink and husband, David, Nicholas Baker and wife Melissa, Sara (Moffa) Monnich and husband, Grant, Samuel Moffa and wife, Alissa, and Antonio Moffa; as well as her 30 great-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025, at KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 North Main St., Greensburg. Prayers of transfer will be private. Magdalene's funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, in Our Lady of Grace Church, 1011 Mt. Pleasant Road, Greensburg. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. All are welcome to join the family for a luncheon afterwards at the No. 7 Hose Company, 625 East Pittsburgh St. in Greensburg.
