Maggie Inez Spradlin Bearden McCuiston Stiers, 99 of Rossville went to be with The Lord on Wednesday June 21, 2023, surrounded by family. She has lived in the Rossville area her whole life. Inez was the oldest member of Newnan Springs Methodist Church. Inez enjoyed reading, gardening, tending to her flowers, and any outdoor chores. She also was a member of several bowling leagues around the area and was a Red Hat Lady at one time.
She was preceded in death by her parents; seven siblings; and grandson James Colby Bearden.
Inez is survived by her children James "Larry" (Barbara) Bearden, Edward "Ed" (Judy) Bearden; grandchildren Stephanie Bearden Meyer, Christopher Lee Bearden, Tina (Randy) Lea, Jerry Lamar Bearden; and great granddaughter Taylor Meyer. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Sunday June 25, 2023, in the parlor of the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday June 26, 2023, in the Ft. Oglethorpe chapel of Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Elder officiating. A private graveside service will be held at a later date for the family.
