Maggie Davis, age 77, passed away on January 1, 2026. Maggie was born on March 21, 1948, to I.G. Thompson Sr. and Flora Thompson. She graduated from West Oso High School.

Maggie was employed by several nursing homes as a nurse assistant. Maggie's greatest joy was family gatherings. She will always be remembered for her quiet nature, devotion to her family, love of laughter, and the love for those around her. She also will be remembered for her belief in the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ. Maggie was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, and aunt.

Maggie is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny L. Davis, Sr., granddaughter, Tiffany Olukanni, and parents, I.G. Thompson Sr. and Flora Thompson.

Maggie is survived by her children, Patty (Tony) Lockridge, Kimberly (Roy) Tyler, Johnny Jr., and Tyrone Davis, grandchildren, Jordan, Patrick, Tina, Alexandria, and Justin, four great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Patty (Lester), Sherman (Amada), Alonia Kay (Jeffery), Roberta Sue (Willie), Morris (Pam), I.G. Thompson Jr., (Jackie), and Ann Sims, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Special thank you to Spohn South Hospital Medical Staff and Corpus Christi Funeral Home Staff. On behalf of the family. We appreciate your prayers and kind words, for they have been a comforting blessing during our time of loss. For our friends and family, we send our sincere appreciation for remembering Maggie.
