Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Ms. Maggie Virginia Goodwin, age 78, of Wadley, formerly of Dublin, who died Tuesday afternoon April 12, 2022, in the University Hospital in Augusta.
The funeral will be held in the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home Louisville Friday, April 15 at 11:00 am with Rev. Wes Pinkley officiating, eulogy by Cindy Barrow. Service can be viewed on the Taylor Funeral Home website at www.taylorfhlouisville.com Pallbearers will be Scott Lee, Andy Goins, Eddie Eastmead, Doug Barrow, Hayden Barrow and Danny Moore. Visitation with the family will be held Friday morning April 15 from 10:00 AM till services time at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the family plot in the Wadley City Cemetery.
A native of Wadley, Maggie was a daughter of the late Edgar Paul McNeely and Loretta Moore and a 1961 graduate of Wadley High School and then she attended Cosmetology school. She worked in retail sales for 80 West Pump & Pantry for several years and attended the St. Johns United Methodist Church.
Ms. Goodwin was preceded in death by her parents, husband Royce Goodwin, two brothers, Verlin Moore and Frank Moore and is survived by her daughter, Kim Cameron (Rob) of Venice, FL., her son, Kevin Goodwin (Nikki), of Dublin, her sister Linda Moore (Jim) of McDonough, and her grandchildren, Cole Cameron, Pierce Cameron and Luke Goodwin, companion, Stan Johnson, several nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
