Makalee Rose Gilmore

Ms. Makalee Rose Gilmore, age 30, a resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born to Michael Ray and Dione Stuart Gilmore on May 24, 1995, in De Queen, Arkansas. She was a graduate of De Queen High School and attended Lewis Temple Church of God in Christ. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, swimming, traveling, cruising, she loved the ocean, Cancun, and her all-time favorite place was Half Moon Cay, Bahamas, but what was most important to Makalee was spending time with her daughter, Kinsley.

She is preceded in death by, her maternal grandfather, Dearl Stuart, paternal grandparents, Hubert Lee and Agnes Gilmore.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Michael and Dione Gilmore of Lockesburg, Arkansas; her daughter, Kinsley Ann Gilmore of Lockesburg, Arkansas; her maternal grandmother, Barbara Stuart of Dierks, Arkansas; along with a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Makalee Gilmore will be held, 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 11, 2026, in the First Baptist Church of De Queen, with Pastor Carlton Malvin officiating. Burial will follow in the Dierks Cemetery under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. Visitation will be held from, 5:00 – 7:00 P.M., Tuesday February 10, 2026, in the funeral home chapel.
