Malay Mazumder Obituary
Of Belmont, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning January 30th, 2025 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston at the age of 89.
Born on August 25, 1935 in Jhala, India; son of the late Promofe and Binapani Mazumder.
He is survived by his beloved wife Kshama, his devoted & loving children Mridul, Melissa and Mark; and his cherished grandsons Malcolm and Alexander.
Family with gather at the Lucy Stone Chapel of Forest Hills Crematory in Jamaica Plain for a Traditional Hindu Funeral Service.
A Memorial Service in celebration of Malay's Life will be held at a later date.

I worked closely with Malay at Arkansas for about 5 years in the mid 1990's. I respected him as much as anyone and crushed he left us - I just found out. Our world is a little worse off without him in it.
