Malinda Versch Obituary
Funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm, with Pastor Timothy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the New Ulm City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to the service at church on Tuesday.
Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes of New Ulm are assisting the family.

Malinda is survived by her son, Leslie (Vicki) Versch; daughters, Sandra Havemeier and Kathy (Tim) Nelson; grandchildren, Justin Havemeier, Jeffrey (Aileen) Havemeier, Kayla (Jacob) Bell, Chyla Nelson, Staci (Eric) Beranek, and Connor Versch; ten great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse in 2019; her parents; sister, Virginia (Robert) Faas; son-in-law, Galen Havemeier; and brother-in-law, Albert (Gail) Versch.
Malinda Louise Marunde was born on March 1, 1937 in Thiensville, WI to Arthur & Adeline (Feldman) Marunde. She was united in marriage to Jesse Versch on May 21, 1955 in Plymouth, WI. Malinda was a homemaker, raising her three children in New Ulm.
May she live forever in our memories.
Memorials are preferred to Oak Hills Living Center or St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
