Maloleoia Vitale Toa Sio was born February 18, 1953 in Western Samoa, Tuanai and passed away peacefully in his home on January 18, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his parents Toa Lolesio Vitale Tuitea Neetia Tuimavave and Isumu and Kateleen Vaifale and his beloved son, Suatipatipa Toa Sio.
He is survived by his wife, Lise Toa Sio; former wife, Iokapeta Pauley; daughters Etevise Toa Sio, Katelina Manuleleua and Jessie Toa Sio; son, Maloleoia Jr. Toa Sio; grandchildren Tytus, Maximillian, Leesah, Hezekiah, Penina, Misalia, Suatipatipa, Victor, Malchai and Baby Malo; sisters Sifiti Faumui and Koleti Tootoo; brother, Toiva Tuitea and many nieces and nephews.
Malo was a member of King's Chapel and served as a Deacon of his church. He was devout and committed and had great reverence all his life for the Lord. Malo loved the Lord with all his heart, soul, mind and strength. He was a factory worker for many years and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was also a huge "Manu Samoa" and "The Five Stars" fan. He will be truly and deeply missed by his family and friends.
Celebration of Life Service for Maloleoia Vitale Toa Sio will be on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 3:00 PM at King's Chapel, 1515 W. Elfindale, Springfield, MO 65807 under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Committal Service will be on Saturday, February 18 at 9:00 AM at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home with interment following at Hazelwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, funeral donations can be made to Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank Pastor Janelle Morroco and Allee Jonas at King's Chapel and to everyone for each and every prayer, phone call or words of sympathy during this most difficult time. We truly appreciate everyone's love and support. Thank you again.
