Maly Naomi Caroline Nockerts

Naomi Caroline Nockerts-Maly, 99, of Richland Center died on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Schmitt Woodland Hills. She was born on July 6, 1926 in Woodman the daughter of Heinrich and Bertha (Henrietta) Gebhard. On July 17, 1947, Naomi was united in marriage to Leo Nockerts and he preceded her in death on June 8, 1987. On April 29, 1989, Naomi married Charles 'Chub' Maly and he preceded her in death on February 20, 2009. She farmed all her life and she worked at Pine Valley Manor for 19 years. Naomi was a 4-H leader with the Five Pointer 4-H Club. She was an avid gardener, quilter and was very active in her community.

Naomi is survived by her daughters Marie (Darrell) Waldsmith of Richland Center,

Karen (Steve) Hansen of Boscobel,

Sons: Kenneth (Elaine) Nockerts of Reedsburg,

Ronald Nockerts of Tomah;

Six Grandchildren: Darlene Tagliapietra, Marsha Salecker, Mark Waldsmith, Patty Creviston, Kristine Gaustad, Sarah Ladwig;

Ten great-grandchildren;

One great-great-grandchild;

Brother: Duane (Pam) Gebhard of Boscobel;

Sister-in-law: Donna Gebhard;

Many other relatives and friends.

Naomi was preceded in death by her parents Heinrich and Bertha, husbands Leo and Chub, and brothers: Gerald, Chris, Ernest Armine.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel with burial to follow in the St. Philip's Catholic Cemetery. A livestream of the service can be viewed on the Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service website. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the Pratt Memorial Chapel from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
