Mamie Carter Obituary

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Peter and Dessie, and by her husband, Charles Edwards Carter Sr., and grandsons Benjamin Lamont Carter and John E. Thompson III.
Mamie is survived by her children, Charles Carter Jr., Mitchell Carter, and Charlotte Carter, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Brittany Thompson, Chad Carter, Jazmin Carter, Sharema Carter, Great grandchildren; Marisa Lewis, Teaghan Thompson, Laicee Boseman, Roneil Barnes, Hazel Carter and her Godson Eric Pritchard who all brought her immense joy.
Mamie will be remembered for her love, strength, and devotion to her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
