Mamie Webb Obituary
Mamie Louise McKeithen Webb passed away peacefully at 12 Noon on December 13, 2023, at Poplar Springs Nursing Home in Meridian, Mississippi.
She was born on December 20, 1928, to Oscar and Willie Mae (Gipson) McKeithen in Kemper County, Mississippi.
She is survived by her two daughters, Joyce (Larry) Shaffer and Sheila (James) Ford; two grandchildren, Michael Shaffer and Jamie Ainsworth; two great grandchildren, Madelyn Shaffer and Giana Ainsworth; and her sister, Janie Mosley; along with several nieces and nephews.
Mamie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Homer Webb, Jr.; brother, Albert McKeithen; sisters, Helen Joiner, Irene Vinson, Marta Jean Hughes, Clarice Smith, and Viola Henderson.
Visitation for Mamie will be held from 1-3 pm on Friday, December 15, 2023, at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-North, located at 7774 Hwy 39 N Meridian, Mississippi 39305. There will be a graveside service following the visitation beginning at 3:30 pm at Magnolia Cemetery, located at 2638 23rd Ave, Meridian, Mississippi 39305, with Dr. Wade Phillips officiating.
Pallbearers for Mamie’s service will be her sons-in-law, Larry Shaffer and James Ray Ford, and her grandsons, Michael Shaffer and John David Ainsworth.
