Mary Ulmer Obituary
A funeral service for Mary Ann Ulmer will be held Monday, October 27, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Moore officiating. Burial to follow at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.
Mrs. Mary Ann Ulmer, age 73, of Suqualena passed away peacefully Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Ochsner Rush Hospital surrounded by loved ones.
Survivors include her children, Gina McCarter (Michael), Angela Keller (John), and David Ulmer (Hannah); grandchildren, Dalton DuValle (Merrick), Madison McGuire (Levi), Lexie Morgan (Brandon), Hailey McCarter, Aiden Ulmer, Sadie Ulmer, and Kyden Ulmer; 6 great-grandchildren, siblings, Tommy Slayton (Allison), Donnie Slayton (Brenda), and Peggy Mixon (David); nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Gomer" Ulmer; parents, Ernie and Hilda Slayton; sister, Arlette Smith (Jim).
Pallbearers will be Dalton DuValle, Levi McGuire, Brandon Morgan, Aiden Ulmer, Nathan Barry, Justin Coffman, John Caldwell, Kyden Ulmer, and Ryker DuValle.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 27, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the funeral home prior to the service in the chapel.
