J.D. Mann

J.D. Mann, of Jennings, FL. passed away in the early morning hours on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident at the age of 17.
J.D. was your typical teenage boy that enjoyed spending time with his friends just having a good time laughing and cutting jokes with each other. He was a 2022 graduate of Jennings First Christian School and had just been hired to work his first "real" job at Wendy's in Lake Park. He preferred going by initials J.D. but he was given the name John Douglas Mann at birth in honor of both grandfathers, Johnny Rowe and Douglas Mann. J.D. was raised up in the church and was surrounded his entire life by fine God loving parents and grandparents. He was his Papa Johnny's heart and he had Grandma Mann in the palm of his hand. She always had him a German Chocolate Cake ready at his request any time. J.D. enjoyed spending time camping with his family and being outdoors. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Douglas and Helen Mann.
J.D. is survived by his parents, Russell "Rusty" and Tina Rowe Mann; his brother, Jacob Mann; and his Papa and Mema, Johnny and Patricia Rowe.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at the Lake Park Church of God in Lake Park, GA.
Interment followed at Sassers Landing Cemetery.
