Born on November 15, 1943, in Laguna, Philippines, Manolito's life was marked by a passionate commitment to his work and family.
35 years Manolito diligently served as a library technician, contributing significantly to the accessibility of knowledge and resources within his community. His expertise and dedication left a lasting impact on many who benefited from his work.
A veteran of the United States Air Force, Manolito proudly served his country, embodying the values of service and dedication that defined his life. His military service is a testament to his character and commitment to the ideals he cherished.
Manolito is survived by his beloved daughters: Marie Breig (David) of Seal Beach, Marifi Pulido (Rod) of Rossmoor, Ali Peters (Russell) of Woodland Hills, and Jasmine Johnson (Jeremy) of Long Beach. He took great joy in being a grandfather to Philip Arvizu of Riverside, Kayla Rozales-Mackey of Woodland Hills, Kaili Mackey of Woodland Hills, Kapono Johnson of Long Beach, Alex Pulido of Rossmoor, and Mahealani Johnson of Long Beach. Additionally, he will be remembered by his ex-wife, Estelita Rozales of Long Beach.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Rozales, and his brothers, Albert Rozales and Andy Rozales. Manolito's legacy lives on through the love and memories shared by his family and friends.
A graveside service to honor Manolito's life and contributions to his community will be held on October 20, 2025, at Riverside National Cemetery. The service will begin at 11:30 AM, with attendees invited to gather and reflect on the remarkable life he led. Manolito's enduring spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him, as he is remembered for his unwavering dedication to family, career, and country.
