Manuel Baldonado

It is with shattered hearts that the family announces the passing of Manuel. Who was called home on Sunday, January 18. 

Manuel was born on November 20, 1976, who was and will always be a truly special person who radiated kindness, care and love as a son, brother, uncle and friend. He would go the extra mile for others without hesitation. He would give the shirt off his back, if it meant helping someone in need. Manuel had a huge heart that only grew bigger with time Manuel was a fast learner and deeply respected by those who knew him. We were truly blessed to have him, and he will be deeply missed by all who loved him. 

Manuel was proceeded in death by his son Matthew, father Steven and a nephew Adan Baldonado, Manuel is survived by his mother, Geneva, a sister Amy, one niece Destiny Chacon, two nephews Frankie and Jarett Chacon. Half-sister Dorena Baldonado, a very dear and special friend Esther Lucero. As well as many uncles, aunts, cousins and dear friends. 

Manuel will always hold a very special place in our hearts. He will be missed beyond words. His absence leaves a void that cannot be filled.

At this time, I would like to thank the staff at the Hospice for the excellent care they all gave my son, and for the support they gave me. I will forever be grateful.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30am to be followed by Mass at 10:00am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church at 5300 Claremont NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery at 7999 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
