Manuel C. Camacho

Manuel C. Camacho, age 67, of Sparta, Missouri passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025. Manny was born April 5, 1957 in Dededo, Guam. He was the eleventh child of sixteen children born to Manuel M. and Maria Castro Camacho.
Manny enlisted in the United States Marines after high school. He proudly served for 6 years in motor transportation and military police. After his military service he became a police officer for thirteen years with the Department of Defense at the Naval Station in Guam.
He met his wife of 39 years, Susan (Case) Camacho while she was stationed in Guam. This union was blessed with 5 children; Wayne Camacho Drilon, Manuel James (Buddy) Camacho, Stephanie Ann Camacho, Jessie Camacho and Steven Anthony Camacho who passed away July 16, 2022; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Manny loved helping and teaching people. He was known for his cooking and BBQ. He would be playing his Chamorro, Hawaiian or Oldies Music very loud so the whole neighborhood would know he was at the grill.
Manny loved his family and would tell them not to be sad that they need to be strong. Keep working towards your goals and take care of each other.
Funeral services for Manny will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 22, 2025, in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark. Visitation will be held 1:00 P.M.
