Manuel J. De Almeida, 67, of Fall River passed away Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, at St. Anne’s Hospital.
Born in Candelaria, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Manuel De Almeida and Margarida Jorge.
Manuel was a hard worker, serving as a baker at Tony’s Bakery in Fall River for over 40 years. He was a fixture at the bakery, rarely missing a day. Outside of work, Manuel was a quiet and simple man.
He is survived by his children Andre Almeida and Kevin Almeida; his siblings Eduarda Almeida, Jose Almeida, Maria Adriano, and Joao Almeida; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Manuel's visitation will be held Friday November 28, from 5-7 PM at the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St., Fall River, MA. Funeral prayers will follow at 7PM in the funeral home.
