Manuel "Manny" Martinez Jr.

Manuel "Manny" Martinez, Jr. age 52, after a brief illness. Cherished son of Antonia Vallejo and the late Manuel Martinez Sr., loving brother of SanJuanita Cisneros, Esteban (Lydia) Vallejo, Roxana (Lolo) Davila, Veronica (Rodrigo Mosqueda), Aaron (Judy), and Amanda Martinez. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. Manny was the life of the party and a longtime Cub Fan. He was a generous person and known to cut the lawns of several friends and neighbors. In his leisure, he could be found playing bags at Double Play or sharing stories with friends at Chris' Northside Tavern. Perhaps not know to many was his love for and nurturing of stray dogs, all of which he adopted.
Visitation Saturday, November 1st beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the Adduci-Zimny Funeral Home, 14522 S Western Avenue, Posen. Funeral Service 7:00 p.m. Private cremation to follow. Information (708) 385-0634.
