Manuel will be lovingly remembered by his father, Enrique L. Ortegon; his mother, Stella G. Ortegon; his brother, David G. Ortegon; his sister-in-law, Veronica A. Ortegon; and his niece, Mia Isabella Ortegon along with numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. His devotion to his family was a constant throughout his life, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A proud fan of the San Antonio Spurs, Manuel rarely missed a home-game and delighted in sharing the highs and lows of the season with friends and family. He enjoyed playing video games, finding both relaxation and entertainment within their imaginative worlds. A lover of professional wrestling, Manuel could often be found catching the latest matches and discussing memorable moments with those close to him. He also had a fondness for comedian Gabriel Iglesias, whose humor brought him many hours of laughter and joy.
Manuel approached life with a gentle spirit and appreciated the quieter moments. His calm presence, warmth, and loyal companionship will remain a cherished memory in the hearts of his family and friends.
A service will be held to honor his life as the family gathers to celebrate the memory of their dear Manuel. May he rest in peace.
