Juan Manuel Perez Sr., 72, of Abilene, Texas passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025. Funeral Services will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Monday, March 10, 2025 at 10am. Visitation will be held at North's Funeral Home on Sunday, March 9, 2025 from 5-7pm with the Rosary at 6pm.
Manuel was born February 21, 1953 in Abilene, Texas to Eusebio R. Perez and Paulita Valadez Perez. Manuel worked for HEB for 19 years. He also worked for Brent Steven's Deer Processing which he enjoyed very much. If you knew Manuel, you knew that his children and grandchildren were his life. He had a great passion for spending time with them and taking them to the ocean where they created many fond memories. Manuel cherished his family very much and we know he will be deeply missed.
Manuel was preceded in death by his parents Eusebio and Paulita Perez, two brothers; Jose Lewis Perez of Abilene, Texas and Isreal Perez of Dallas, Texas, and two sisters; Juanita Vilanueva and Rebecca Perez of Abilene, Texas.
Left to cherish his memories are: wife of 54 years, Lucia Estella Perez, five sons; Julio Silvas Sr., Juan Manuel Perez Jr. and wife Melinda Perez, Paul Perez and Destiny Eusabio Perez and Jacklyn Perez, Benito L. Perez all of Abilene, Texas, two daughters; Cynthia M. Castillo and Patrick of Abilene, Texas and Christina Rodriguez of San Antonio, Texas, one sister; Rose Mary Zapata of Dallas, Texas, 26 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
