Survived by Wife: Ale Perez; Sons: Rick Perez (Lauren) and Tony Dominguez (Melanie); Daughter: Lissette Dominguez; Grandkids: Gabriel, Haylie, Antonio, Julia, Addison, Scarlet, Lydia, & Israel; Sisters: Maritza Lopez, Grisel Lopez, Sylma Perez, Eileen Marie Perez Garcia, Maria Teresa Perez; Brother: Manuelo Perez; and many nieces and nephews.
After a dedicated career in law enforcement, Manny embraced retirement with joy, spending his days surrounded by what mattered most - his family, friends, and his beloved dog, Mia. He never passed up a chance to watch over his grandkids, grand dogs, and even the grand cat, always cherishing those lively, love-filled days.
Manny took great pride - some might say borderline OCD - in keeping his Jeep spotless and his home impeccably tidy. A true enthusiast, he was an avid shooter who appreciated firearms of all calibers. Conversations with Manny were never dull, especially when they turned to history or politics - two subjects he explored with passion and insight.
But above all, his favorite place was the mountain cabin, where he found peace and contentment alongside his wife, Ale, and loyal companion, Mia. It was there that he was most at home - surrounded by nature, love, and tranquility.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
A Memorial Service Honoring the Life of Manny will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at 3:00PM at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 4th from 2:00PM until the time of service at 3:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, we request that donations be made to Gwinnett County Police Foundation, to German Shepherd Dog Rescue of Georgia, or to C.O.P.S Georgia Chapter, or simply pass on the brotherly love to another person in need who crosses your path.
