In loving Memory of Manuel Hernandez Ramirez born on May 1, 1942 to June 24, 2025. Manuel passed away peacefully at home.
Manuel was born in Eagle Pass, Texas to Adrian and Irene Ramirez. At a very young age he moved to Ontario, Oregon and later met our mother Frances in 1962.
Our parents married in Payette, Idaho in 1971. They resided in Portland and had 3 boys and 1 girl.
Manuel was a Mechanic, graduating from Sylvania Community College in 1970. He worked at Schommer and Sons Construction in the 80's and eventually started his own construction company. Dad was also self taught in many other hobbies and his passion was gardening.
Manuel gave his life to God in the 2000's and was baptized by the late Pastor Robert Fernandez. Dad and Mom attended the Maranatha Church of Jesus Christ in Gervais, Oregon and Life Church in Salem, Oregon
Manuel will be greatly missed by his family, friends, neighbors, and all who knew him. He is survived by his wife Frances Ramirez, his 3 sons. Manuel (Neva) David and James Ramirez, and daughter Trista (Mario) Mendoza. He had 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
