Marc R. Davis, 72, Redwood, NY, passed away in the emergency room at River Hospital on Friday, December 8th.
Marc was born in Endwell, NY, on May 17, 1951, the son of Frank N. and Esther June Davis. He graduated from Maine Endwell high School and later attended Morrisville College in Morrisville, NY.
Marc married Karen Dorr on June 17, 1972, at the Alexandria Bay Baptist Church. He worked as Foreman for Crowley Foods in LaFargeville for 38 years, retiring in 2010.
He was an avid fisherman, boater, camper and scuba diver, and a HAM radio operator. He enjoyed his two Bassett Hounds, Amos and Emma.
Marc is survived by his wife Karen, at home, sons, Eric M. Davis, Martville, NY, and Jason F. (Rebecca) Davis, West Monroe, NY, grandchildren Elaine and Roberto, a sisters in law Lois Toland, and Cathy Dorr, and brother in law, Howard Dorr, and nieces and nephews.
Per Marc’s wishes there will be no services.
