It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Marc Gilbert, a brilliant mind, a beloved friend, a distinguished member of the U.S Air Force, and a devoted father. Marc passed away peacefully on April 12, 2023 at the age of 59 leaving behind a legacy of excellence and service. He is survived by his daughter, Deirdre.
Marc, throughout his 28 years of military service, distinguished himself as top student and leader. He served this country with distinction, rising through the ranks to become a highly respected individual and strategist. His intelligence, expertise, and dedication earned him numerous commendations and awards throughout his military career.
Off the battlefield and behind all of the airplanes, Marc was a loving friend and a devoted father to his daughter, Deirdre. He was a man of integrity, kindness, and generosity, who always put everyone else first. He worked tirelessly his entire life but was still always there to provide a helping hand. He was also a man of many talents, with a keen intellect and a love of learning. His wisdom and knowledge is something we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
Despite his many achievements, Marc was known for his humility, his kindness, and his unwavering commitment to his daughter, Deirdre. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his contributions to our nation and his family will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace, Marc.
