Marc Mintz Obituary

Born in Queens, NY, to Murray and Sylvia (née Nadler) Mintz, he resided in Kendall Park for thirty years and Monroe Township for ten years before moving to Griggstown one year ago.
After retiring, Marc worked at ShopRite in South Brunswick.
Marc was a United States Army veteran, having served from October 1969 till November 1970, during the Vietnam War.
He was a member of Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple in New Brunswick, as well as the Chabad Jewish Center of South Brunswick in North Brunswick.
In his leisure time, Marc enjoyed tennis, spending time with his family, friends and his beloved dog, Sophie.
He was predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Joan, in June 2013, and his brother, Arthur Mintz in January 2017.
Surviving are his son, Michael and his wife, Esther, of Mitzpe Yericho, Israel; his daughter, Jodi Pianka and her husband, Eric, of Princeton, and his grandchildren, Drew Pianka, Shana, Gilad, Margalit, Oriel and Avishai Mintz.
A chapel service will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 11:45 am, at Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Interment will follow at Floral Park Cemetery in South Brunswick. For directions, please visit our "Services" page.

We met Marc about 10 years ago at the dog park
He had Sophie and we had alfie
We all became friends at the park
We would alsit on the bench and have fun talking while the dogs played
The groupn Went for dinner many times
We would talk about our kids, grandkids etc
Have not seen marc for a few years but I will never forget.our good times and laughter at the park

I had known Marc for over 60 years. We would speak at least once a month and then when he lived in Florida we spoke every week. I will miss our conversations. R.I.p. my good friend.
