Matthew Mintz, 91, of Baltimore, MD, a devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away on August 10, 2025. He was born on June 30, 1934, in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Frederick and Beatrice (Sachs) Mintz.
Matthew is survived by his beloved son, Edward (Freshteh) Mintz, and his cherished grandchildren, Zachary, Jordan, and Micah Mintz. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Lois Ann (Rosenberg) Mintz, and his sister, Corinne.
For more than 65 years, Matthew built a respected career in the automotive industry, primarily in automotive sales. Among his peers, he was considered “an institution” in the wholesale auto business—admired for his creativity, innovation, and steadfast dedication to his work.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Beth-El Zedeck North Cemetery on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 12:00 p.m.
