Marc Orlick Obituary
For over 25 years, Marc dedicated himself to his work as an electrical engineer at Raytheon, where his expertise and commitment made a lasting impact. Beyond his professional life, Marc embraced the world with a camera in hand, capturing moments through his passion for photography. His love for traveling took him to many corners of the globe, and as a member of Chesapeake Bay diving, he explored the deep blue with a sense of wonder and adventure.
Marc was preceded in death by his father, Milton; his mother, Irene; and his brother, Jeffery. He leaves behind a legacy of love and family, survived by his daughter Melissa Cahoon and her husband Micah; his brother Howard Orlick and partner Kevin Beauchamp. Marc's memory will also be cherished by his grandchildren Emily, Sarah, and Sawyer. He is also survived by Pamela Wright, Shelley Harris, and Kathy Brayton, who each held special places in his heart.
A memorial service to celebrate Marc's life will be held on Friday, July 5th, at 1 PM at Altmeyer Funeral Home – Chesapeake Chapel, located at 929 Battlefield Blvd, South, Chesapeake, VA 23322.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, honoring Marc's spirit by supporting a cause close to their hearts.
Marc Louis Orlick's adventurous soul and compassionate heart will forever inspire those who had the privilege to know him. May his memory continue to guide us towards exploring the wonders of life with curiosity, adventure, and the love for his family lives on.
