Marc was the son of the late Samuel and Alice Weig of Dayton Towers. He was preceded in death by his aunt Sylvia Rockstein and in-laws Robert and Joan Boden. Marc attended Yeshiva of Belle Harbor and later Beach Channel High School. He was known for his amazing hair and charming personality. His nickname for many who knew him was "Wiggy". He worked as a corrections officer for Monroe County Corrections in Stroudsburg, PA for many years until moving to Florida where he worked for Stericycle.
Of all his titles, the most important was loving husband, daddy, and pepa. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Helene and their children, Marc Jr, Justen (Allison), Paul (Jessica), Matthew (Single if you want him), Amanda (Dave), Ashley (Angel), and a niece he loved like a daughter Whittney (Anthony).
Together they have 11 grandchildren and two on the way that he will meet on the stairs, Zakari, Nicholas, Charlette, MacKenzi, Dominick, Jimi, Carlynn, Margot, Karson, Lively, and Ayla. His beloved fur babies Luigi and Mario. His birth mother Judy. As well as many brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews, and many loving extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be this Saturday April 5th at Congregation Ahavath Chesed in Jacksonville, Florida.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to V4Victory of Jacksonville, The Dream Foundation, or the Trust of Marc Weig Jr.
