MRS. MARCEDENA LEMONS WILCHER, age 79, of 162 Pine Avenue, Warrenton, GA passed on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025, at her residence. Family members and friends may call at the funeral home. THOMSON FUNERAL SYSTEM, Thomson, GA oversees all arrangements.
MRS. MARCEDENA LEMONS WILCHER, age 79, of Warrenton, GA passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at her residence. Maredena was born on Thursday, April 18, 1946, to the late Eva Bell McCullers in Sandersville, GA. She was raised by the late M.H. Murray
"Cille" as Marcedena was affectionately called, received her education by attend school in Glascock County, GA. She attended Second Mineral Springs Baptist Church of Mitchell, GA where she was a longtime member. Marcedena sang in the choir and helped with other various church services as needed. During her employment tenure, she worked as a seamstress for the former Health Tex, Inc. of Warrenton, GA. Our dearly beloved Marcedena Lemons "Cille" Wilcher will be remembered with a pleasant smile and hearts full of love.
Loved ones left to cherish her memory: two daughters, Rochelle D. Wilcher and Lisa Wilcher (Eddie) Battle; one son, Wallace Lemons; seven grandchildren, Anthony Torrence, Jonathan Lemons, Kina M. Tucker, Naja Bradshaw, Amber Ivey (Phillip) Gordon, Ashlyn J. Ivey and Sakesia Q. Yarbrough; four great-grandchildren, Aubrey Dominquez, Blakely Bradshaw, Karsyn Cook and Rylee Burns; two sisters, Remilla (Charles) Allen and Bernice (Dwyane) Richardson; a sister-in-law, Dianne Lemons; a son-in-law, Pastor George Ivey; a special addition to the family whom Marcedena has only seen via picture, Tristan Gordon; a host of cousins, other family members and friends.
