Ms. Marceine Raffaldt, age 77, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Carolina Pines Hospital with her family by her side. Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Sunday, March 16, 2025 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Dr. Steve West and Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the Bay Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 3:00 – 4:00 PM Sunday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Ms. Raffaldt was born October 16, 1947 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Vernon and Agnes Tyner Wilkerson. She was a retired employee of Weller Industries with over 25 years of service. Marceine was a member of Bay Springs Baptist Church and enjoyed attending Westside Baptist Church with her son. She was known for her love of shopping, particularly clothes, shoes, and pocket books. A lady who loved her family deeply, Marceine was a true matriarch and the glue of her family.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Raffaldt was also preceded in death by her brother, Roger Dale Wilkerson, Sr.
Survivors include her sons, Gregory “Greg” Vernon Rivers of Chesterfield, SC, and Dewayne Wilford Boan of Cheraw, SC; grandchildren, Amilynn Rivers, and Justin Rivers; great grandchildren, Paisley, Luke, and Hunter; siblings, Dewayne “Buck” (Hettie) Wilkerson of Bethune, SC, and Myrtle Wilkerson (Jimmy) Short of Chesterfield, SC; sister-in-law, Annette J. Wilkerson of Patrick, SC; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
