Ray Raffaldt Obituary
Chester Ray Raffaldt Sr, 79, of Beaufort, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at his home.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 9, 2025 at Oceanview Cemetery of Beaufort.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Oglesby Raffaldt of Beaufort; and his two children.
Ray served honorably in the United States Air Force before building a career as a land surveyor, from which he eventually retired. His dedication to his work and service reflected a life marked by commitment and perseverance.
A passionate fan of the Carolina Panthers, Ray rarely missed a game and proudly supported his team through every season. He was also an avid NASCAR enthusiast, with Dale Earnhardt Sr. holding a special place among his favorites.
Beyond sports, Ray had a deep love for horses. He found great joy in working with them and spent time as a horse trainer, combining skill with genuine affection for the animals he cared for.
