Marcella was born to the late, Nerva (Goodman), and Lee Embry in Louisville, KY. She was retired from Philip Morris, and a member of Faith Chapel General Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Earl Collins; son, Stephen Collins; sisters, Virginia Akers, Irene Pike, and Shelby Jean Swift; brothers, Everette and Shurly Embry, and son-in-law, Darrell Embry.
Marcella is survived by her daughter, Vickie Collins Embry; sister, Ann Johnson; grandchildren, Scott Embry (Amanda), and Rachele Embry Bland (Brian), and great-grandchildren, Tucker Embry, Sawyer Bland, Caroline Embry, Hadley Bland, and Hudson Bland.
Her funeral service will be at 1:00 Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home.
