In Loving Memory of Marcella (Marcy) Linda Espinoza
December 10, 1947 – November 14, 2025
With profound sorrow and enduring love, we announce the passing of Marcella Linda Espinoza, who left this world on November 14th at the age of 77, in the comfort of her home and surrounded by the family she so deeply cherished. Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we are also filled with immense gratitude for every moment we were blessed to share with her. We find comfort in knowing she and her husband, Antonio Eduardo Espinoza, of 56 years are reunited in the Lord's embrace.
Born on December 10, 1947, in Romeo, Colorado, Marcy was the beloved daughter of Mary Cruz Velasquez and Telesforo Lobato. From an early age, it was clear that she possessed a heart of gold-full of kindness, generosity, openness, and a gentle strength that touched countless lives throughout the years.
Marcy was a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, a loving grandmother, a caring sister, a loyal friend, and an inspiration to all who knew her. She found joy in life's simple and meaningful moments-holding her husband's hand, tending to her rose bushes, getting her hair and nails done, preparing and sharing meals with her loved ones, playing Yahtzee, gambling, listening to oldies and Northern New Mexico music, and reminiscing through stories.
Her greatest pride and joy were her family. She poured her heart into creating a home filled with warmth, comfort, and unconditional love.
Marcy is survived by her children, Reinette D. Espinoza, Joey D. Espinoza, and Celina M. Marez (Alex); grandchildren, Candice S. Beaubian-Espinoza (Courtnie), Tyler J. Christian, Courtney P. Duran, and Cameron A. Marez; great-granddaughter, Carsyn Rain Beaubian-Espinoza; siblings, Marie "Trini" Espinoza (Arthur), Cipriano "Leo" Lobato, LilyRose Espinoza (Gilbert); best friend, Valerie Diaz; and many more loving family members and friends, all of whom will continue to carry her legacy forward. She is reunited in eternal peace with her husband, parents, brother, nephews, and other beloved family and friends.
A celebration of Marcy's life will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Farmington, New Mexico, beginning at 9:30 am. All who are touched by her life are welcome to attend and share in honoring her memory.
Though she may no longer walk beside us, Marcy's love, light, laughter, strength, and faith will continue to bless the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in peace, and may we honor her life by living ours with the same love, kindness, and courage.
Our beloved is entrusted to the care of Cope Memorial Chapel.
