Marcella Iron Cloud Obituary
Marcella Vivian DuBray-Iron Cloud was born on May 11, 1932 in Martin, SD to Eugene DuBray and Eva Hawkins-DuBray. Marcella made her journey to the Spirit World on January 13, 2024 at her home in Porcupine, SD.
Marcella is survived by her sister, Joan (David) Arguello; her children, Alvin Iron Cloud, Sr., Bernadine (Mikey) Iron Cloud-Garcia, Hazel (late Marcell) Iron Cloud-Bull Bear, Pat (Sandra) Iron Cloud, Joseph (Lori) Iron Cloud, Bruce Iron Cloud, Paul John Iron Cloud, Sr., David Iron Cloud, Sr., and Robert Wayne Iron Cloud; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Marcella was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland M. Iron Cloud; mother, Eva Hawkins DuBray; father, Eugene DuBray; sons, Everette Iron Cloud and Jimmy Iron Cloud; siblings, Jame C. DuBray, Percy DuBray, Pershing, DuBray, Jossiya DuBray, Battiste DuBray, Martin Marht, Amelia M. Nelson-DuBray, Ora Jane Peters DuBray, and Permillia D. DuBray Prue; granddaughters, Keshia Mae Iron Cloud, Micheligh Iron Cloud, and Aaliyannah Iron Cloud; grandsons, Dominic Iron Cloud, Galen Three Stars, Kison Iron Cloud, Alvin Iron Cloud, Yamni III Fazen White Magpie, Baby Boy Iron Cloud, Baby Boy Orozco, and Joshua Jazz Gordon; and great-great grandchildren, Marcella Jade Gray Grass, Daryn Black Bird, and Joyce Iron Cloud.
Pallbearers will be Alvin Iron Cloud, Jr., Xavier Buckley, Marques Bull Bear, Norman Iron Cloud, Arnold Iron Cloud, Jimmy Sage Iron Cloud, David Iron Cloud, Jr., Paul Iron Cloud, Jr., Marcus Tre Iron Cloud, and Wayne J. Vigil.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
Wake Services: Two night wake services starting at 4:00 PM, Thursday, January 25, 2024 at the Porcupine School Gym in Porcupine, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM each night with the main meal and giveaway to be held the evening of Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Porcupine School Gym.
Funeral Services: 9:00 AM, Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Porcupine School Gym in Porcupine, SD
Officiating: Lay Minister Mona Vocu
Master of Ceremonies: Waylon Gaddie
Traditional Lakota Services: Mr. Steve DuBray
Burial Services: 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Pine Lawn Memorial Park in Rapid City, SD.
