Stella is survived by her sons, Cy (Gayla) Black Horn of Oglala, SD and Lance (Arlene) Black Horn of Porcupine, SD; brother, Roger Iron Cloud of Pine Ridge, SD; grandchildren, Caliphea Black Horn, Michael Weston, Cassandra Black Horn, Mato Black Horn, Cetan Black Horn, Chelsea Black Horn, Tyler Black Horn, Lance Black Horn, Jr., Nikki Black Horn, and Ruby Black Horn; great grandchildren, Melody Weston, Amari Bowers, Levi Bowers, Ambrose Black Horn, Cherish Johnson, Chase Yazzie, Kaylee Black Horn, Kyley Black Horn, and Kiara Black Horn; hunka daughter, Tawa Ducheneaux, hunka brother, Father Raymond Bucko, S.J., and numerous nieces & nephews.
Stella was preceded in death by her parents, Cy and Ruby (Red Wing) Iron Cloud; brother, David Iron Cloud; sister, Patricia Iron Cloud; great granddaughter, Avana Brown; paternal grandparents, George & Stella (Black Horn) Iron Cloud; and maternal grandparents, John & Jenny (Velandry) Red Wing.
Pallbearers will be Lance Black Horn, Jr., Tyler Black Horn, Mato Black Horn, Cetan Black Horn, Michael Weston, Scott Zollinger, Brett Iron Cloud, Cody Iron Cloud, Seth Iron Cloud, Mitchell Iron Cloud, Isaac Kuykendall, Zach Evatt, Alex Kunz, & Benjamin Kunz.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mila Yantanpika Tiospaye, Tasunke Wakan Wi Wayang Wacipi, Waceyunpa Tiospaye, Red Wing Tiospaye, Ernie & Sonia LaPointe, Gwen Ward, Father Raymond Bucko, S.J., Father Peter Klink, S.J., Oglala Sioux Lakota Nursing Home Residents & Staff, Oglala Lakota College Nursing Program, I.H.S. Kyle Health Clinic, St. Mary's Girls School Classmates, and All Friends & Relatives.
Wake Services: One night wake service starting at 3:30 PM, Friday, October 31, 2025 at the Porcupine School Gymnasium with evening services starting at 7:00 PM followed by Military Roll Call.
Funeral Services: 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 1, 2025 with Traditional Services and Nurse Honor Guard calling all Nurses at the Porcupine School Gymnasium in Porcupine, SD
Traditional Lakota Services: To Be Announced
Burial Services: Cremation To Follow Services
