Marcey Smith Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service - North Chapel on Jan. 17, 2026.
Marcey Lee Smith, 46, of Marion, passed away peacefully at 12:30 am on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, in Marion. She was born on January 8, 1980, in Florida to Kim Unger and Cheryl (Ehman) Williams.
Marcey dedicated her life to caring for her family and home. She was a deeply spiritual person who loved the outdoors--whether sitting under the tree to read or simply enjoying nature. Her passions included John Deere, documentaries, and spending time with loved ones. Known for her generous heart, Marcey would give the shirt off her back to help someone in need. She embraced life with a "beautifully chaotic" spirit and cherished her role as a great-aunt, treating her great-nephew as if he were her own grandchild.
Nothing can be written to sum up the Marcey we all knew and loved. If you asked anyone who knew her, Marcey was just simply chaotically beautiful. Marcey was just that person who loved all for who they were. She was dancing with a lot of battles yet her spiritual belief kept her fighting. She always made sure that the people she loved weren't alone or without, even if she was. Marcey could light a room up and make people get together. She isn't an easy person to forget and she knows that. She wasn't just somebody but someone! She will not be forgotten and as she would say, "God bless."
She is survived by her daughters, Hayleigh (Lucas) Riley and Morgan Cravens; grandchildren, Leviticus and Atticus; sister, Misty Stewart; nieces, Alyssa and her son Jacob, Brooklyn, Jada, and Phoenix; brother, Matthew Tincher; father, Kim Unger; and cousin and "her other daughter", Kelsey Maxwell.
Marcey was preceded in death by her mother, Cheryl Williams.
At Marcey's request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
Arrangements are entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
