Marcia Suzanne Becker

Marcia Suzanne Becker, age 77, of Reading, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026 at the Hillsdale Hospital McGuire Unit. She was born in Coldwater on June 25, 1948 to Howard and Rosa (Schmitz) Brown and later raised by Rosa and Raymond Rudisiler. She married Fred Becker on October 18, 1994 and he preceded her in death on March 13, 2016.
Marcia graduated from Reading High School class of 1966, and went on to raise her children at home. She then worked for Roost Oil, later becoming Crystal Flash Energy, for almost 40 years until her retirement. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Reading American Legion and loved to play games. She enjoyed euchre, bingo, and traveling to Las Vegas every year with her husband. Marcia could be found tending to her beautiful yard or supporting her grandchildren in all of their sports and activities.
Survivors include her three daughters, Cheryl King, Lynette (Lee) VanAken, Cortney (Aaron) Osburn; seven grandchildren, Kyle, Damian, Kayla (Mark), James, Parker, Camryn, Kendall; four great-grandchildren; and her special dog, "Buddy".
In addition to her husband, Fred, Marcia was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dick Brown.
Funeral services for Marcia Becker will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Reading with pastor Penny Nunn officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. There will be a private family interment at Maplewood cemetery at a later time.
