Marcia Lynne Bedolla, of Safford, entered into rest Saturday, November 29, 2025, at her residence with her family at her bedside. She was 64.
Marcia entered this life on November 26, 1961, in
Safford, Arizona at the old Safford Inn Hospital. She was the firstborn to Boyd and Gladys Anderson. She was thrilled to be the big sister to Tina Marie on July 16, 1963, and then to Jerold Wayne on February 20, 1965. She was a protector and fulfilled the obligations of eldest sibling well, keeping them both in-line and safe, with some room for mischief. She loved her brother and sister very much, often fighting off bullies and anyone who might try to cause harm.
She attended Thatcher Schools for most of her 12-year school tenure. Attending short stints in Gallop New Mexico, Lander Wyoming, Willcox Arizona and Verden Oklahoma. She was so happy after all the short moves to finish up her education at Thatcher High in 1979. After completing high school, she attended some college at Eastern Arizona College with her mother Gladys. They were both brilliant students with great grades. After a few courses, she decided to jump into the job market instead. She never shied away from hard work, even working as a dishwasher for the old Fireside in Thatcher at the age of 10. The owners would have her "hide in back" as she was a little young for the job. She also worked every summer with the different youth programs available. In her senior year she hit the big time working for the FAA in Thatcher for a time. She also worked at a few more places, Thrifty Drug Store in Thatcher and Payless Shoe Store in Safford. Everything changed when she started working for Fort Grant Prison. In 1991 she got her last job with the Safford Federal Prison. "Mrs. B" was considered a tough cookie and was well respected by the inmates and fellow workers.
Marcia grew up with her cousins and family attending the Safford First Assembly of God church. She married Benjamin Roach in May of '81. They welcomed their only child, Eric Lee on November 16, 1984. He was her brightest blessing in life and her world revolved around him. After Ben and she divorced, she was reintroduced to Vinny Bedolla. They both fell head over heels in love and quickly married. This union brought in 2 amazing daughters as well, Erica and Jesenia.
Marcia and Vinny loved attending Church and family gatherings. Vinny would play the bongos, and Marcia would help out in the Church Nursery loving on the babies. They had a love of camping and later spending summers as camp hosts on Mount Graham for a time. They bought a pop-up tent and later moved on to RV camping, often spending camping trips with their brother Steve Bedolla, parents Rick and Helen Bedolla, and later on with their granddaughter, Bella Bedolla. As they got a lil older and couldn't quite handle taking the camper up, they often enjoyed heading up to the family cabin with her sister Tina and family. Family mattered the most to Marcia. She was loved by many, and she loved deeply in return. Marcia was a very private person and took to being a wife, mother, sister and grandmother very seriously. She was one of the most giving and loving humans you will ever meet.
She is preceded in death by: her grandparents, Elmer and Elizabeth Anderson, and Cecil and Nancy Blount; her parents, Boyd and Gladys Anderson; her brother, Jerry Anderson; her loving husband, Vinny Bedolla; a stepdaughter, Krista Bedolla; her mother-in-law, Helen Bedolla; and sister-in- law, Vangie.
She leaves behind: her sister, Tina Anderson; her son, Eric (Mariah) Bedolla; granddaughters, Bella, Luna and Hayden; daughter, Erica (Travis) Ross; grandchildren, Kayden, Westyn and Felicity; Jesenia Bedolla and her children Cirena and Abel; and further grandbabies, Skout Torrez and Malia Bedolla; father-in-law, Rosario/Rick Bedolla; brothers-in-law, Tony (Vanessa) Bedolla, Steve (Debbie) Bedolla; and sister-in-law, Raquel Phillips; her nephew, Bradon (Nicole) Bedolla with Dylan and Talia; her niece, Brittany Bedolla (Chad Jones) and Jesse, Holden, Adalee and Jensen; also, her Aunt Marie Anderson, Uncle Alan (Jo) Anderson and Dean (Patti) Anderson; many nieces nephews and more cousins than can there are stars in the sky!
She will be greatly missed by all who love her and were blessed to get to know her and her beautiful heart. "Rest well good and faithful servant. Well done!"
