Marco Dorame Obituary
Marco is survived by: his devoted wife of 16 years, Pearl Dorame, and their children, Mya Dorame and Matthew Ravia; his parents, Ana and Rudy Veloz; his sisters, Jessica Gomez (Jeremy) and Bianca Dorame; numerous nieces and nephews, Dominique Flores (Manny), Bella Garcia, Lilian Veloz, Kayelah Gomez, JoJo (Joseph) Garcia, Adrian Dominguez, Hezikiah Turner, Rudy Veloz, Ysabelle Veloz, Antonio Veloz, Marcus Murillo, and Nana Cruzita. He is preceded in death by: his maternal and paternal grandparents and great grandparents, Baby Dorame, and Uncle Rogelio. Marco leaves behind many family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Marco worked for Freeport for over 11 years and took great pride in his job. He loved being outdoors, listening to music, and drawing. His hobbies reflected his creative and adventurous spirit. Marco especially enjoyed spending time with his dad -whether at the river, target shooting, or simply sharing a carne asada. He was passionate about cooking and treasured every moment with his wife and children. Marco was deeply proud of Mya, Matthew, and all his nieces and nephews. Known for his generosity and big heart, Marco was always ready to help anyone in need. He never had a mean bone in his body and carried a smile through every situation. His presence brought joy and warmth to those around him, and his absence will be profoundly felt. The world truly lost a beautiful soul.
A Rosary and prayers for Marco will be offered Wednesday evening, December 10, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., at Vining Funeral Home's "Chapel of the Valley".
