Marcia E. Bourne, 77, of Miramar Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on January 7, 1948, in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana, Marcia brought light, joy, and unwavering kindness to all who knew her.

A devoted member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority for over fifty years, Marcia embodied the values of friendship, service, and lifelong learning. Her love of reading reflected a curious and thoughtful spirit, and her passion for travel, especially her cherished cruises around the world, spoke to her adventurous heart and appreciation for the beauty of life's journey.

Marcia will be lovingly remembered by her husband of twenty-nine years, Michael, with whom she shared a deep and abiding partnership. She leaves behind her beloved son, Christopher and cherished grandson, Ethan; as well as her devoted stepdaughter, Christine (Brian); stepson, Matthew (Stacy); and treasured step-grandchildren, Jackson and Mackenzie. She is also survived by her dear brother, Andrew (Tammy), along with many loving nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends who were drawn to her warmth, laughter, and grace.

She was preceded in death by her parents, A.L. and Pauline Johnson, and her sister, Deborah Goot, whom she now joins in eternal peace.

Marcia's legacy is one of love, generosity, and strength. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A celebration of her beautiful life will be held in Miramar Beach, Florida, at a later date.
