Marcia Ann Chambers

Marcia Ann Chambers, age 79, of LaGrange, IN passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at The Waters of LaGrange in LaGrange, IN. Marcia was born on September 20, 1946 to the late Woodrow & Lucille (Hopkins) Chambers in Modesto, CA.

Marcia graduated college with a B.S. in Anthology. She had many interests and hobbies over the years. She was the former owner of Topeka Pizza, Topeka Laundromat, and Ragtime where she made rag rugs for the design industry. She was a honeybee inspector for the state of Iowa for many years. Marcia also loved flowers and was a Master Gardener specializing in Dahlias.

Marcia is survived by; a son, Edward Charles Jamison of Sarcoxie, MO; a daughter, Monet Lisa (Paul) Ramsey of Sarcoxie, MO; three grandchildren, Zack, Ethan, Meadow Nicole; two brothers, Franklin Patrick (Kathy) Chambers of Bend, OR, Dennis Jay (Denise) Chambers of Tule Lake, CA; and her special friend Deb (Jim) King of LaGrange, IN.

She was preceded in death by; her parents; and her significant other, Paul R. Pranger in 2011.

There will be a visitation for friends from 1:00PM to 3:00PM on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Yeager Funeral Home 1589 Lincolnway South Ligonier, IN 46767.  A funeral service in Marcia's honor will follow at 3:00PM with Jim King officiating.  A private burial will take place in Hawpatch Cemetery Topeka, IN. 

Memorial contributions in loving memory of Marcia may be made to the Elkhart Dahlia Society.
