Lori Howe Obituary
Lori Ann Howe, age 62, of Cromwell, IN passed away at her home on Friday, December 5, 2025, at her residence. Lori was born on December 28, 1962 in Whitely County Indiana to the late Glen Harold Black and Gaynol Lynn nee LaRue Black Von Blon. She attended West Noble High School in Ligonier, IN.
On July 29, 2000, in Pigeon Forge, TN, she married Joseph W. “Joe” Howe. He passed away on November 28, 2019. Lori was employed by Walmart Supercenter in Goshen, IN for over fifteen years and had worked her way up to Photo Lab Associate. She was a former member of the American Legion Post #253 women’s auxiliary in North Webster, IN. Lori enjoyed crafting and especially talented in stain glass and diamond art. She adored her two beloved cats Cora and Chip.
Lori is survived by; three children, Terry (Beth) Taylor of New Paris, IN, Kevin (Kari) Taylor of Goshen, IN, Anthony Taylor of Goshen, IN; two sisters, Christine (Tim) Flaugh of Syracuse, IN, Cynthia Von Blon of Syracuse, IN; father and mother-in-law, Ron and Peggy Howe of Greenback, TN; nine nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by; her husband, Joseph w. “Joe” Howe; father, Glen Harold Black; mother, Gaynol Lynn Von Blon.
Per Lori’s wishes cremation rites will take place. Memorial contributions in loving of memory of Lori may be made to the New Hope Pet Rescue 72555 County Road 29 Syracuse, IN 46567.
