Joyce Marie Davidson

Joyce Marie Davidson, 80, of Ligonier, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Indiana University – Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born on July 12, 1945, in New Point to the late Loren and Edna (Ricketts) Haley.

On March 20, 1965, in Greensburg, Joyce married the love of her life, McArthur Davidson. He preceded her in death in August of 2022.

Mrs. Davidson retired from Freudenberg in the Quality Department.

Joyce and McArthur loved to travel, but Joyce’s true passion was being a Nana and Great-Grand Nan.

She is survived by her children, Suzette Davidson, and McArthur (Sara) Davidson II; grandchildren, Jillian Stansell, Haley (Phil) Murray; Katelyn (Ryan) Gaff, and Kelsi Davidson; great-grandchildren, Caroline Murray, Rynnleigh Gaff, and Kolter Gaff; and several brothers and sisters.

Also preceding Joyce in death were several brothers.

Family and friends will be received from 2-4 pm on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South; Ligonier, IN 46767. A private cremation committal will take place following the at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center in Ligonier.
