Marcia Gale Jurgens, 66, of Independence, Missouri passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025.

Marcia was born on July 13, 1959 in Paola, Kansas to Noel and Mildred (Harclerode) Jurgens. After graduating from Maryville R-II High School, she attended Washington University in St. Louis where she earned a bachelor's degree in art history. Marcia returned to Maryville, Missouri and worked at the Chamber of Commerce while studying to become a CPA. Marcia later moved to Independence and worked as a CPA for many years. She retired from the Home Builder's Association of Greater Kansas City in 2024. Marcia loved to read and make quilts.

Marcia was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her son, Billy Munshaw; a sister, Denise Jurgens; ex-husband, Robert Munshaw; and extended family members and friends.
