Marcia Schlesinger

Marcia Schlesinger, age 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 6, 2025. Those who were fortunate enough to know her were invariably touched by her loving nature. Her personality and heartfelt care for others were reflected in her enduring commitment to her family and her passion for volunteering, notably at the Mid Ohio Food Bank and Wexner Heritage House.
She is survived by her beloved children, Howard Schlesinger, Eileen (Todd) Elswick and Erica (Glenn) Mathews; grandchildren, Damien, Shane, Samantha and Dyllan Schlesinger, Zack and Brooke Elswick, Andrew and Addison Hutchings; and great grandchildren, nieces, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Justin Schlesinger, parents, Esther and Harry Stevens and brothers, Carl Stevens and Bernie Stevens.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at Forest Lawn Chapel, 5600 E. Broad St. followed by interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marcia's memory may be made to ALS United Ohio. Family and friends are welcome to gather for Shiva at home of Erica and Glenn Mathews immediately following the service.
