Marcia A. Strutz (nee Christensen), age 77 of Brookfield, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025. Marcia was born March 15, 1948 in Waukesha, WI.
Marcia graduated from Milwaukee Washington High School where she met the love of her life, Howard Strutz. They were married on June 28, 1969. Marcia and Howard shared a beautiful life together and raised their boys in Brookfield. She worked for 13 years at St. Joe's Hospital as a unit secretary and then for 20+ years in the Elmbrook School District as a secretary and library secretary. She enjoyed traveling, road trips across the United States, cruising and working in her flower garden.
She took great pride in creating a beautiful and loving home for her family and friends. She loved attending her grandchildren's baseball games, tennis and volleyball matches, concerts and plays. Her grandchildren especially enjoyed her famous sugar cookies.
Marcia was preceded in death by her parents.
Loving wife of Howard Strutz, for 56 years. Devoted mother of Scott (Jody) Strutz and Curt (Heidi) Strutz. Proud grandmother of Braden Strutz, Carter Strutz, Christian (Hannah) Strutz, Caleb Strutz and Amaya Strutz; Step-Grandmother of Amanda (Cole) Gude, Michaela Leach and Jacob (Allison) Leach; and Sister of Mary Gypp. Also loved by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including Denise, Ruth and "the lunch bunch."
Visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin, on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Service to be held at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Marcia's memory to a charity close to your heart.
